Hampshire, England - Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire has appointed Peter Burwash International (PBI) to direct a new tennis program beginning 18 June 2011.
Recognised for world-class personalised instruction, PBI has been selected to coordinate professional programs and energising tennis activities throughout the summer at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. Since 1975, PBI has been known as the world’s leading tennis management company and this appointment marks Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire as the only UK destination offering PBI expertise.
“We chose PBI for their experience and high quality of tennis instruction” says General Manager Charlie Parker “they are the perfect partner for Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire and will introduce an exciting new dimension to our guest activities.” Also commenting on the agreement, PBI President Peter Burwash said "For many years our tennis students from the UK have been asking for a PBI tennis program in England. We are therefore extremely excited to partner with Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire and look forward to welcoming our many tennis friends from the UK and elsewhere to the courts at Hampshire this summer."
As Wimbledon fever sweeps the nation, guests have the chance to finesse their forehand with PBI Tennis Professional Ulli Nganga. Originally from Norwich, Ulli started playing tennis at the age of five and has been a qualified tennis coach for over 15 years. At the age of 13 Ulli was invited to attend the UK National Tennis School at Bisham Abbey and went on to compete worldwide in various Grand Prix and Grand Slam events, including The Wimbledon Champsionships, The U.S Open and The French Open, reaching a UK singles ranking of 9. He has also been a practice partner of John McEnroe, Stefan Edberg, Pat Cash and Pete Sampras, amongst others.
PBI tennis programs will run from 18 June 2011 until early September, offering individual and group lessons for all ages and standards, daily tennis clinics, a junior tennis program and social and competitive tournaments.
