Peter Burwash International Honors Jumeirah resorts in Dubai
Peter Burwash International (PBI), the world's leading tennis management organization, recently honored Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company, with its prestigious “Site of the Year” award.
Three Jumeirah resorts, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray have engaged PBI to provide exclusive tennis services for their guests and members. The award is given to PBI-staffed properties which, over the course of the year, have maintained an excellent working partnership with PBI and shown a commitment to provide the highest quality tennis experience. In 2011 Jumeirah Group expanded the partnership to include one new property and two additional PBI professionals. PBI now supplies a total of nine professionals for Jumeirah's three Dubai resorts.
PBI President Peter Burwash made the announcement at the company's awards banquet during its Annual Meeting at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, Florida.
“Dubai has become one of the leading travel and tennis destinations in the world,” noted Burwash. “It is a privilege for PBI to be associated with Jumeirah Group's world-class resorts and we look forward to a continued successful relationship.”
This is only the third time in PBI's 36-year history that a hotel from the Middle East has garnered this award.
