The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is located within the 1,000-acre master-planned Punta Mita Resort development northwest of Puerto Vallarta. The resort's guestrooms are housed in individual Mexican-style casitas with ocean views capitalizing on the natural setting along the Mexican Riviera. The 21 suites with one to three bedrooms also feature individual plunge pools. The resort includes a Jack Nicklaus championship golf course with seven seaside holes and par 3 with the tee on the mainland and the green on a natural island 175 yards off shore. There are also a wide variety of recreational facilities, including a free-form pool and whirlpool, fitness center and spa and an open-air palapa with hammocks for afternoon siestas. Pristine white-sand beaches provide the entry point for snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing and scuba. Deep sea fishing and seasonal whale and dolphin watching are also available.
