ABOUT

Founded in 1984, the Aberdeen Marina Club is a unique private community where members and their families enjoy superb facilities, outstanding restaurants and an impeccable level of service.

 

Covering an area of more than 550,000 square feet, the Club operates seven restaurants and ten banqueting venues, with an unparalleled range of sporting and family oriented facilities. World-class Shangri-La service is our distinguishing feature, and caring, friendly employees strive to ensure that each experience exceeds all expectations.

Seven Tennis Courts are available at the Club, including four on the rooftop, which are installed with artificial grass that allows less down-time due to wet weather, players can continue to play in light rain. They also provide a softer surface to reduce the risk of injury and stress to ankles, knees hips and lower back.

Lessons area conducted by full-time professionals and a state-of-art ball machines are available for rental.

As a junior player Asif was the Asian Junior Champion as well as one of the top 20 juniors in the world. He represented India in the junior championships at Wimbledon, the French Open and the US Open. On the ATP Tour he was ranked as high as 414 singles and 616 doubles in the world, and was the Asian Games Gold Medalist in 1994. He was the singles, doubles and mixed doubles national champion and number 1 ranked player in India from 1992-1995, and represented India in World Group Davis Cup competition between 1989 - 1996.
